Císařská chodba (Imperial Hall) Ravine

Bohemian Paradise

The strongest and mightiest ravine in the Prachovské Rocks.

The strongest and mightiest ravine in the Prachovské Rocks was named after Emperor Francis I, who was carried through here during his visit to Jičín for a meeting of the anti-Napoleon coalition in June 1813. The gorge is flanked by vertical walls. The prayer rock that rises above it is one of the main towers of the Prachovské Rocks. The forested rocky gorge near the intersection of the Imperial Hall is known as the Devil's Kitchen.
