Kozí hřbet (Goat Ridge)

Krkonoše Mountains

Kozí hřbet is a steep terminal and quartzite ridge. Its highest point is Krakonoš, which has a height of 1,422 metres.

From this place there is a nice view of the surrounding landscape. In the 16th – 17th centuries copper, arsenic and silver were mined here. Walking along the ridge is forbidden because the site is protected – in winter the southern and northern slopes experience many avalanches.

Location: Northeast of Špindlerův Mlýn
